About this image: Vinces Cross placed in 1904 in memory of George Vince who lost his life falling into the sea during a storm. Now to the left is McMurdo Station, the sea ice covering the Ross Sea in some years will break out allowing cruise ships to come take in sights as seen here. This images was taken 02/22/2016 .
